Ahmad Reza Ahmadi, inspired by classical Persian poetry and Nima Yooshij, introduced a new movement in contemporary Persian poetry. His first poetry collection, Tarh (1961), drew the attention of poets and critics. Ahmadi was one of the pioneers of the New Wave in the 1960s, which had a significant impact on Iranian literature and art. From 1970 to 1994, he worked at the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, first as a music production manager and later as an editor. In 1999, the Journalists’ Poetry Award ceremony was held at his home, and the institute honored him with the “Flying Pencil” statuette.

The design of the three-volume collection All My Poems, published by Cheshmeh Publishing, is based on visual concepts related to Ahmadi’s modern poetry. The use of punctuation marks in the design refers to the poet’s distinctive style. The green-yellow color scheme, applied both on the cover and as dividers inside the book, enhances the coherence and visual identity of the collection. On the cover, the poet’s image is featured in three stages of life—youth, middle age, and old age—under a sheet of tracing paper, symbolizing the passage of time and the evolution of his poetry. The collection is housed in a frame that holds all three volumes together, completing its unified visual identity.

Simplicity is the primary characteristic of Ahmadreza Ahmadi’s poems. Their value lies in his ability to create something innovative using plain language. The book design reflects this simplicity, providing ample breathing space for the poems.
